What do ChAPS do for children?
ChAPS Activities for Children
ChAPS has a range of activities for children including a weekly social club based in Northwich.
The Club is a specialised socialisation group for children in Cheshire aged between 7-11 years old with an Autism Spectrum Condition (whether diagnosed or not).
The kids are being taught how to play, have a conversation, share, make friends and how to cope with 'not' winning the game !
We are seeing some fabulous outcomes from the children attending.
For further information on The Club please download the flyer.
We run around 30 regular activities every month which range from parental support meetings, youth clubs, kidz clubs, yoga for parents, family swims, pony riding, animal interaction, gym with music and dance to crafty club for parents.
We supplement this with one-off events like ‘Technofest 15’ a Minecraft and Coding day, outdoor survival skills, picnic in the park, science workshops, autism friendly concert, Christmas Market etc.
We also have a very busy adults on the spectrum group who meet up twice a month for pub nights, social outings to walks in the forest, quiz nights, trips to Liverpool etc.
For further information about any of the activities or joining ChAPS please ring our Cheshire Support Worker on 07462 887815 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org or through Facebook please message Carey Chaps.
